Position Summary

Artemis is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Business Development Representative who is capable of developing business opportunities for our diverse business offerings. Your primary role will be to identify and seek new business opportunities through developing a customer focused strategic plan addressing short- and long-term growth. This individual will lead the capture of new business through developing relationships with potential customers within the defense industry’s military electronics MRO and spares marketplaces.

The candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in Business Development, or Capture Management within the defense industry and familiarity with its complex, long-term procurement cycle. This position will be responsible for clearly articulating the company’s offerings to potential customers, qualifying and developing leads, and serving as an account manager for existing customers. Ultimately, this position is intended to identify and develop opportunities that will contribute to the company’s long-term business growth. This position reports directly to the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications

· 3+ years’ experience in Business Development, or Capture Management within the defense industry (including identifying new opportunities, qualifying and validating leads, and developing and implementing positioning strategies to support capture of qualified leads)

· Identify & establish key industry partnerships to maximize new business growth within this key customer.

· Knowledgeable about military electronics, assemblies, systems, and platforms

· Experienced in effectively using important industry procurement websites, such as [please apply online] ww.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil and [please apply online] Able to build and maintain extensive relationships with decision makers, government customers, industry partners and private organizations

· Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Business Travel will be required

· Willing to relocate if necessary (relocation package may be available)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
